A Lost Art
Taking pictures in black and white has become a lost art. Over the years I have dabbled a tiny bit with black and white, mostly out of curiosity, and a reverence for the work of Ansel Adams. These pics included here were taken during a trip last summer to the Ancient Bristlecone Forest and a trip I took to the snow a couple of winters ago. I doubt I will ever spend a lot of time honing this particular art form, but who knows.

Pics of the week
Most of pictures I have taken over the years have been of nature but I have shot a few oddball pictures here and there. This weeks pics are some of the more unusual pictures I have taken in the past five years, some by accident. Taking good pictures or odd pictures is often simply a case of being in the right place at the right time...which...is why I now carry my camera when I think a photo opportunity may be a hand...Enjoy
